TAA Teacher Heroes, formerly called BrightSpots, is designed to recognize those teachers who every day put their talent and creativity on the line to go over and above what is required. TAAF wants to honor and recognize TAA Teacher Heroes by showcasing their accomplishments. During these crazy times, we feel it is more important than ever to let the world know how much extraordinary work is being done in classrooms and schools across the state and nation by our most dedicated arts educators.

Please complete the brief nomination form below. Once you've completed the form, submit it to taa@tnartsacademy.org. If you have any questions, feel free to email (taa@tnartsacademy.org) or call (615-988-6250) the TAA office. The committee will review all nominations as they are received and will announce monthly winners in the TAA newsletter.
The nomination period is October 15 - December 31. Besides an article in the TAA weekly newsletter, all TAA Teacher Heroes will be recognized this summer during the Academy's Finale Luncheon and will receive a TAA certificate to display in their school or classroom. The principal and the superintendent of each TAA Teacher Hero will receive a letter announcing the honor bestowed on their valued staff member.
