TAA Online Auction
The TAA Foundation offers an exciting online auction that opens in early July, the week before the TAA Summer Institute begins, and ends on Thursday evening of the Summer Institute week. The TAA Online Auction has gifts arranged by category including restaurants, jewelry, vacation destinations, musical instruments, concert and sporting event tickets, and much more.
The TAA Online Auction is open to the general public. All bidding can be done from the comfort of your own home or office. Here is the link to the TAA Online Auction site. Check this site regularly for announcements on the exact timing when the auction will open and close, as well as a list of current items up for bid.
Silent Auction
The TAA Silent Auction runs Tuesday through Thursday during the TAA Summer Institute week. It is open to all Tennessee Arts Academy attendees, faculty, staff, and official visitors. Tennessee Arts Academy participants are each asked to donate an item for the auction. An auction gift acceptance table is open during TAA registration on Sunday, prior to the start of the Summer Institute. All silent auction proceeds help provide much needed funding for Arts Academy activities throughout the year.
Gift Donations
All types of gift items are accepted for both the online and silent auctions. Artwork, concert and sporting event tickets, jewelry, dinner for two, hand-made items, and your own original creations are just a sampling of ideas for items that will be appreciated. All item(s) should be new and in their original package. Signed posters, programs, books, sporting gear, and other “priceless” gifts are always very popular and obviously need not be new if they are collectibles.
TAA Summer Institute participants may bring silent auction donations to Sunday registration on the Middle Tennessee State University campus.
